Yesterday, I posted on my favorite seed catalogs. If you'd like to look at see some truly beautiful seed catalog covers from days gone, by check out this link to the collection at the Smithsonian Institution.
The collection contains over 10,000 seed and nursery catalogs from the 1830' through the 1930's. The Smithsonian site has an on-line tool that lets you browse by plant type (tomatoes, apples, begonias, etc.) or by seed company.
