My wife, Sharon, found this recipe in Barbara Kafka’s book “Soup as a Way of Life” and it’s become a family favorite. It’s easy to make and our kids love it, and it uses vegetables from our garden. The original recipe calls for chard but we find that kale works just as well. We pick the kale leaves when young and tender. If you do so, you can follow the recipe as is. If you buy kale at the store, it tends to be tougher and you’ll need to cook it longer.
This soup will flow in to my soul if i had to taste it..It looks like so delicious, :)
